What Exactly Are Organic Skin Care Products? Don't Know?

There are many searching for organic skin care products. But what are organic skin care products?

What are they? How do you find the best organic skin care products? What is the safest organic moisturizer?

Every day women worldwide search words like these in their favorite search engine, and there is a growing interest in organic skin care.

But what is it? There is no easy to find out exactly what organic skin care really is, and there is no definition.

Something like this if found in the dictionary for the word organic:

characteristic of, pertaining to, or derived from living organisms.

In other words, they came from something living.

Ok, that helps a little, but still doesnt tell us what organic skin care products really are.

Perhaps organic skin care products have ingredients that come from farms that are "certified organic"? But what if the ingredients come from farms in other countries? What does "certified organic" mean in other countries?

And what if an ingredient came from a source that wasn't a farm? There are some excellent skin care products using a special Japanese seaweed. Seaweed comes from the sea, which isn't certified organic.

But isn't the sea clean? No not at all in some places.

Are you beginning to see the problem? Theres no definition of organic skin care, no way to tell what it is, and no way to know if what is marketed as, for example, an organic moisturizer, really is.

And the same problem applies equally to skin care products that are "natural".

So to get an answer we need to think about what someone who searches for "organic skin care products" is really searching for.

Sadly many big name skin care products and cosmetics and more contain ingredients that are dangerous, like lead and mercury. And as well as dangerous to your health, they may be damaging to your skin.

And even skin care products labeled organic or natural can have suspect ingredients too.

It's sad but true. Even using "organic" or "natural" products doesn't guarantee safety. So there are many women worldwide searching for alternative products that are safe to use.

So if we know that women looking for these types of products are looking to find safe and effective products we can then use this information to our advantage.

These women want safe skin care products that work. Where do we look for these?

Begin at the Cosmetics Safety Database and search the ingredients found in any product to see if it is considered risky to health.

And you can also find, at the Campaign For Safe Cosmetics, a compact that any company can sign that evidences their intention to use only known safe ingredients. You won't find any of the big brand names there that have signed.

So if you are considering cosmetics or skin care products from a company that hasn't signed then don't buy.

So thats a good way to find out if the products that you are considering buying should be safe to use. Search any or all of the ingredients in the products, and search to see if the company has signed the compact. I tell you on my website where to do these searches.

But how do you know if the products work well? Thats another matter entirely. Perfectly safe products may not work well.

In my view the only real way to find out if products work well is to try them for yourself. But if you do that you may waste quite a bit of money trying products out.

But one small company that makes excellent skin care products offers you a 90 day guarantee so you can try risk free.

And it's not a coincidence that they make the best products, if their products didn't work they couldn't offer a guarantee or they'd go broke giving money back.

There's a 2 step method of finding skin care products that are both safe, and effective.

And if you want to know more about finding the websites where you can do these searches visit my website, where you can also find out what natural skin care products come with a 90 day money back guarantee.
