Should You Get A Brazilian Bikini Wax

Before looking for a Brazilian bikini wax, you need to be absolutely sure that you want to buy it. It is better to try the standard bikini wax first. While most of the pubic hair is removed by the standard bikini wax, hair in the sensitive areas are not removed. If you want to remove all your pubic hair completely, then the Brazilian bikini wax is the product that you should go for.

The ideal way to start using the Brazilian bikini wax is to seek the help of a professional, who can teach you how to use the wax. Trying to wax yourself initially could cause severe damage to the bikini areas and your efforts to look great could prove futile, as the affected areas may appear worser than before. Hence, you need to locate a salon which can provide you a Brazilian bikini wax. Many such salons are available in all the major cities of US and all you need to do is to look them up in the yellow pages or search through the internet.

Once you have located a salon, inquire about the number of waxes they do on average in a week, be sure that the technician is experienced, and ask for references from some of their customers.

You can expect to pay up to $100 per waxing session, although the average cost is around $50. Anything less than $50 is probably not advisable.

When it is time for your scheduled appointment make sure you take a warm shower being sure to cleanse your pubic area thoroughly. Enter with a good attitude. You will enter a separate room or curtained enclosure where you will lay knees up or with your legs down. The therapist will prepare you for the wax by trimming your pubic area to about a quarter inch with scissors.

The next stage is waxing. The therapist will start with a low temperature wax and once it dries will pull it out taking your pubic hairs with it. This is the most painful part but as a first timer it will be more painful.

You will be asked to position yourself in various awkward positions, including extending your legs in an upward position, moving them to your side, and even holding them above your head. You should find that the hair will be easier to remove in future sessions.

An experienced therapist can certainly ensure that the customer feels less pain. Should you feel the procedure is extending for too long or you are experiencing unbearable pain, you could always request the therapist to give you a break and continue after the pain subsides. On completion of the procedure, the entire clean pubic area is splashed with a soothing solution. You can rest assured that you will stay clean for a minimum of three weeks, during which period, you are at liberty to wear the bikini of your choice without any worries.
