How To Use Oatmeal In A Homemade Facial

Our goal is to get clean, clear and beautiful skin. We especially want to have this skin on our faces. This is why so many people spend so much money on expensive beauty products. It is why so many people spend money and time in spas and with beauticians. But what if you cannot afford to spend hundreds of dollars on skin care products or spa treatments? Thankfully there are lots of great skin care products that you can make at home. Many of these can be made from natural ingredients you'll find in your kitchen. Keep reading for great ways you can use plain oatmeal for a great facial.

Grind up half a cup of oatmeal in your blender until it becomes a smooth powder. In another bowl mix together 1/4 cup yogurt and a few tablespoons of pure honey. Add this mixture to your blender or coffee grinder with the ground up oatmeal. Blend everything together until you have a smooth paste. Next spread mix onto your skin being sure to avoid your eyes. Let the paste sit for up to fifteen minutes before washing it off with warm water. Your skin will feel so much better!

Set the oatmeal to the side and give it time to thicken up. While you are waiting for it to thicken, mix together a couple tablespoons of plain yogurt, a couple tablespoons of honey and a single egg white. Make sure you stir it really well to make sure the egg gets mixed in completely. Mix all ingredients with the oatmeal. Carefully spread thick mix onto your skin face and neck. Let it sit for ten to fifteen minutes or until your skin tightens and the mixture dries. You can use a warm cloth to rinse or simply take a shower and rinse there.

Mix all of these together until pasty. Start with freshly cleansed face. Once the cleanser is completely rinsed away, spread the facial mixture onto your face, taking care to avoid your eyes. You can also spread it on your neck if you like. This should sit for ten minutes and then be rinsed off with warm water.

These are just a few of the oatmeal facial recipes that you can use to give yourself clean, clear and beautiful skin. Why waste all that money when you can use ingredients that are better for you and that you can find in your kitchen?
