Cool and Simple Flawless Foundation Tips for Perfect Looking Skin

1. Before applying foundation, do a little mixology: Add 2 drops of water (normal), witch hazel (oily), toner (dry) to your founation and apply with a sponge.

2. Bump it up: Get a little extra coverage, but keep it sheer and simple: Just put on your foundation blend some with a bit of your concealer. Dab this onto those spots that need a little extra help. Powder lightly.

3. Love stick foundation but it's just so heavy? Problem solved! Negate that mask-ey coverage by mixing your stick foundation with a drop of moisturizer. Make it lighter still and just apply where you need it and not all over the face. Dust with a bit of loose powder. Sheer beauty!

4. Summer in October? Stay bronzed and beautiful easily. An easy way is to take your favorite bronzer stick or liquid, and run a bit over your your fingertips. Add a bit of moisturizer on top. Blend and apply on your face. The result is a softer version of your bronzer that works for the fall and winter months.

5. Oily girls take note: One part foundation to 1/2 part powder. Mix and apply to give yourself a base that helps to blot up the oils in the foundation and makes a canvas that stays oill-free and lasts and lasts.

6. Powder, than foundation. Yes, that's right. Dust a little powder on clean and dry skin. Then apply your foundation. The powder works to soak up oils and keep you looking matte longer.

7. Model's Secret: Models don't all have that great skin. Besides airbrushing, you can get a nice, photography-level coverage with this tip: Apply your liquid foundation as normal, but use double the amount you do usually. Get a folded tissue and press it lightly around the face to absorb some of the extra foundation and oil. The result is a high-coverage look that contains pure pigment and is photo-ready.
