Check Out These Super Awesome Oatmeal Facial Ideas
Did you know it's not necessary to spend a lot of money for a great facial, try looking in your kitchen cabinets first. If you walk into a spa you are likely to be offered a more homeopathic approach to cleansing and invigorating your skin. You can get the same oatmeal facial at home for much less money. The information below will help you learn to make a few recipes that we bet you already have the ingredients for.
Adding olive oil, egg white and cooked oatmeal together is the first simple recipe. Make the mixture more incorporated and evenly mixed by combining ingredients until mixed well. Next add only a drop or two of lemon juice and again mix. The goal is to create a single paste by mixing well. Now cleanse your skin as usual. It might be a good idea to clean your neck area too. Use the mixture you just created to mask your face and neck for your facial to begin. You'll want to be careful not to get this mixture into your eyes. Allow the mixture to sit on your skin for fifteen to thirty minutes. Before you wash your face, remove the mixture with a warm damp cloth.
The next recipe we have to share includes two tablespoons of cooked oats and a tablespoon or plain unflavored yogurt. Before applying to your skin be sure the oats are completely broken down. To thin the mixture if it is too thick simply add more yogurt or some milk. Let this mixture sit after spreading on the skin but avoiding eyes for just a few minutes. After you've completed these steps follow with a good moisturizer.
If your skin tends to be on the dry side try this next method. Start off by massaging your skin with dry oatmeal. Apply a mixture of mashed banana and yogurt as you would a regular moisturizer. Avoid the eyes as you spread this evenly over your skin. Rinse this mixture off with warm tepid water after it's sat on your skin for 20 minutes or more.
With all of the options out there it might be fun to even try developing one of your own too.
